No need to take the Orient Express This restaurant has become my go-to place when working in NYC. It's worth the subway ride or a taxi to get there. Every dish is an exotic combination of eastern spices. You feel like you're in Malaysia especially when it's summer and the doors are all open. You'll swear that a sea breeze from the Orient is passing through.
great place! Spice Market is a great place to eat. The decor is beyond words -- It looks like the inside of someone's indian themed home. The drinks were delicious as was the food. My only complaint is that for the price (quite expensive) there was very little food serviced. I suppose it was gormet portions when I like big-bubba portions :)
