Try the curry chicken I have never been a fan of Indian cuisine, but this is a good place try try. I went with a couple of friends who love Indian food--and I was skeptical. Keep it simple with curry chicken and salad assortment. Not too crazy during lunch rush either.
Nice place to eat My husband and I like Indian food and we found this restaurant to be a nice place for a weeknight or weekend dinner. The service was adequate and the food was good. I think the problem with this restaurant is the the Bombay Grille is down the street and that place is wonderful. If Bombay Grille is too crowded you can go down the street to the Spice and Curry and get a curry that is almost just as good.
Spice & Curry is the best With new Management lot of changes was done. Customer service got improved, food quality got improved, especially i enjoy my dinner with the right spice and taste what i need.
Inconsistent food quality and the worst customer service Typically their lunch buffet menu items taste good. But at dinner, it could be a hit or miss. One of our friends had to send some food back to the kitchen to fix it. They did it, so be it a little hesitantly. Another time, when we ordered for take out (got lentil (daal makhani), potato+caulifolower (aloo gobi) and 2 other items). good lunch buffet The lunch buffet here is good... not too many options for vegetarians... staff is friendly... good place to go for lunch from office as you dont have to wait long..
Spice and Curry, as promised, is "sublime and beautiful." When I want a decadent Navaratana Kurma simmered in heavy cream and even heavier spices, I'd be amiss to look anywhere else. There are at least 5 Indian places that are closer to my house than Spice and Curry, but the trek is completely worth it. I prefer ordering off the menu, but the lunch buffet is superior to most, with many more vegetarian options and a higher than average basic spice level. Indian Resturant. – One of the best lunch Buffet in RTP, You have both Veg & non Veg Dishes, too many choices of dishes. Even in Briyani they so many variety in it. You have go for dinner to try different variety of choices.
S&C NowaDays – I have been to S&C many times. But nowadays It has changed. Taste gone bad. Service very bad. Oil they use on chilli chicken ,poori and tandoori chicken smells bad. May be old oil. They are reusing, that too on peak hours(sunday after noon). I wonder how much stock of bad oil these people have :). On lunch buffet, they intentionally delay the refills.
