Spice Cove has amazing lunch specials. The food is great and the waiters and waitresses are very helpful with the menu. Try the Coconut Puri soup, the Samosas, Tandoori is wonderful here and I LOVE the Naan. It's just a nice comfortable spot to enjoy good quality food.

Different Choice For Dinner – So, I went back (like I said I would) and just want to note that in addition to the great food ... the staff is genuinely attentive and pleasant. It's a personal touch that is much appreciated when grabbing a bite to eat ... honestly, a smile and welcoming personality makes all the difference,Thanks Spice Cove ! :-)

cutest little indian on the block nice decor, decent service, good deal for the city – unpretentious and cute little joint. nice friendly service and clean. the decor is nice and cozy while beimg chic and modern for an indian joint. not like the dreary places that filled the block. the prix fixe for $10 is an amazing deal. although there is cheaper on the block, i'll pay the extra few bucks for the ambiance. not a bad date place without shelling out huge bucks. vindaloo and tikka marsala is pretty good but the pita naan leav... read more

spice cove, should be NO SPICE CAVE for animals – went to this restaurant based on good reviews and was utterly shocked with the food, place has a nice decor but the food and service is no where near to it, asked for naan, was presented with a hot pita bread and the server started agruing with me saying it was naan, food was bland without any taste. the management needs to make some changes for sure. thats why it should be NO SPICE CAVE not spice cove.

Go On Week days – I really love this place, and I tell everyone about this place, about the delicious foods, the neat and beautiful atmosphere, the friendly staff's services..everything,even the restroom! but the problem is, since the place is so small and the restaurant gets packed so easily, especially on weekends, I would really recommend coming here on weekdays

Editorial Review – Small Indian restaurant on the Lower East Side serves traditional dishes and prix fixe lunches, and offers takeout.

Deliciously cheap... – So many choices on curry row and this is definitely the best one I've had! Not only were the prices reasonable but u get a generous portions, although the food was very rich and creamy, but I love it! the chicken korma that we had was really delicious and the soup, coconut puri was out of this world! will definitely return....

You'll forget all the other restaurants on 6th street – I love going to sixth street and trying out various Indian restaurants. Although I've never committed to just one, Spice Cove has put an end to my wandering eye. The samosas are the best I've ever had- delicious but not too greasy. I highly suggest trying the chicken biriyani- it's out of this world- and that's not just the generous portions of wine talking. The decor is exotic yet cozy the restaurant has a warm friendly feel to it. I have avoided taking my boyfriend to... read more
