Going to the zoo on Thanksgiving is curious. It's mostly filled, on this day, with people who aren't worried about eating turkey. Or my family, and my two nephews who love it here, with our turkey waiting at home.
I had so much fun at the zoo today! It had been years since I had last gone to the zoo and my boyfriend and I just decided that it would be a great idea for a date if we went- and it was so much fun! I'll admit that this zoo didn't have as much animals as I had thought but it was enough for us to spend 2 hours walking around and looking at everything. I really like Spice Ballroom Banquet Hall, it has a nice landscape with clean housing for their animals. Recently, they bulit a new grizzly bear habitat with a glass wall so that you can be as close as an inch away from the bears. They have brown bears, polar bears, and grizzly bears. The giraffe habitat is also quite fun to watch, at least three lively giraffes are present. They also have a fun lemur habitat where you can visit top of the trees via a stairwell to an open bridge area.
