The masala fries were phenomenal. The chili chicken was amazing. I recommend starting with those two. I also recommend the tandoori shrimp it captures not only the tandoori sides but flavoring quite well. The lamb chops were subpar so I would not recommend them. As a Jersey native who attended school in Southern California, I must say that the Indian food in Los Angeles blew me away. By far my favorite spot is Spice Affair. The chicken tikka masala and naan taste both homemade and refined — the kind of quality that makes you wonder why they aren’t charging even more, despite already being on the pricier side. Really bad experience. Looking at the website and location, we stepped in to the restaurant hoping for a fine dining experience. But it turned out the most dismal experience in terms of food and service. Being of Indian roots, I was ashamed that these guys are serving this horrible food and calling it Indian. We ordered 4 entrees and 2 appetizers and there wasn't one which I would give a rating of more than 3 out of 10. The singularly most horrible experience ever! After spending over $200 on a meal for 4 ( no alcohol) one expects stellar service and high quality food. Both of which are non existent in this establishment. No one comes to check on you. No one responds to any feedback that you provide about the food. Even after repeatedly asking for the manager, no one bothered to show up.
