Just got my blonde balayage refreshed here in Sphere hair salon… after a consultation. I decided to transform my hair color from warm blonde to cool neutral blonde… the hair dresser is very detailed oriented and have tons of patience!! I also got a tiny trim to take off the split end and I left the salon with my hair feeling healthy despite the brightness without losing length… they gave me a complimentary blowout to better see the hair color on fully blown hair.. It pains me to leave reviews like this but I didn’t heed the warning of the person below and suffered. So just wanted to warn others, or at least let the salon know. I was looking for a layered cut in the area and came across Sphere. The reviews seemed OK but I am realizing none of them were recent. Firstly, I will say the head wash was wonderful. My less than 30 minute men’s trim (emphasis on trim, 0.5-1 inches off) was $77 and the stylist was very cold. My hair looks good but I was in the chair for probably only 15-20 minutes, and the cut was extremely simple. Not worth it.
I had a very disappointing experience at Sphere Hair Salon. I walked in yesterday and asked for about 2 inches off the top and slightly more than 2 inches off the back. I never asked for my hair to be thinned. Unfortunately, there was very little communication from the barber throughout the service. He did not repeat my request, confirm the length before cutting, or check in during the process. Kept my fingers crossed that I would find a great little Salon in Carroll Gardens, and…SCORE! Johnny did EXACTLY what I wanted, and masterfully. The place is so adorable and I met another young lady who shampooed and reserved an appointment even at last minute. I loved my experience and will highly recommend to anyone. Thank you guys so much!
