The place are so good the people that work there are amazing.
Wonderful Doctor! I have recently moved and am now looking for an eye doctor to live up to the quality that the docs at Star Optical have given me. I am having a tough time finding someone so caring about his patients and their needs. Their selection of eyeware is outstanding as well! I have had these glasses for about 5 years and they are as good as new!
Dr. Frank seems to care about his patients, but his office staff needs an overhaul. Still waiting for 2 pair of glasses from over a month ago. 1 pair is in the other has failed for the second time at the lab. Very dissatisfied with the people who work here. They can text you and call you 20 times for a reminder for an appointment but can't call and tell you that your glasses were messed up at the lab and sorry for any inconvenience You have to call them especially when they have your money already. RecommendedDr Frank provides monitoring for glaucoma and macular degeneration, both of which have afflicted first rank family members. I feel very pleased to work with a provider who makes monitoring and early detection a priority.
Very unethical billing practices !!! I received services in 2019 and paid the bill via their web porthole. Over 7 months later they rebelled a portion of the bill. Their billing representative and the Dr in Sycamore got involved. The Dr is very kind but the billing rep at their corporate office has horrid customer service sills. That is being nice. Unfortunately, I had cancelled the credit card I paid with in 2019 due to identity fraud and Spex denies any record of one portion of this payment despite other payments reflected... read more

The staff is always so friendly and patient. Dr. Frank is thorough and quite conscientious. I feel strongly that they are attentive to the care of my eyes.

So I gave my favorite, great fitting, daily WileyX/HD riding glasses to Brittany Krause-Fowler and she definitely Hooked Me Up !!!!!!!!. Not only do they now have my prescription with a bifocal AND transition but they transition to a dark mirror finish. Brittany definitely gets the KOOL POINTS for this one. I luv em'. Thanks soooooooooo much Brittany.
