I have been dealing with an abscess for about 4 months. At the urge of my wife and our friends, they said “you better go before it becomes an issue, what you are experiencing isn’t normal”. I called Pasadena Smiles phone number which from being in the industry figured was an after hours call center. I was shocked when the doc (Dr Vincent Spero) answered the phone directly at 11p at night. He said “I’ll text you the address, come see me tomorrow morning at 8”. Dr. Spero is a hero. My wife cracked her tooth and it was after hours, so our dentist office (and every denstist) was closed. We Googled emergency dentists and came across Dr. Spero who went out of his way to help us out when we couldn’t reach anyone else. I highly recommend him because he actually cares about people and their wellbeing, is very knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond to help.
I was in Pasadena for a couple of weeks and broke a tooth on a Saturday night. I called Dr. Spero on Sunday morning and he actually picked up the phone. Asking if I was in pain (which I wasn't) he instructed me to come in Monday morning at 8:30 and they would work me in. Dr. Spero immediately recommended a crown...which I was concerned about because I was on a tight two-week schedule. I only wanted a temporary fix...but he said that wouldn't be possible.
