Yes, I’m gonna remain anonymous. I reached out to a therapist. They were very nice and directed me to a few other therapists that were possibly accepting new clients for a couple counseling. I reached out to them. One was nice and said at this time I’m sorry I am not taking new clients. Second one reached out. Had me fill out paperwork and then when I left off some information and I replied back to the email. They told me I’m not taking new clients at this time for a couple therapy. Did absolutely nothing to help my spouse with his avoidant dismissive issues and told him he didn't need therapy.... It seems as though he either didn't have an appointment but once in a blue moon or not at all and he may have only had 1 month session and yet he doesn't need therapy.....I have complex PTSD and used to fit criteria for BPD so that family dynamic alone needs to be worked through and he is very invalidating and dismissive so to be told by Johnathan Reynolds he doesn't need therapy is one of many reasons are mar... read more
Jonathan Reynolds Marriage & Family Therapist, MS, LMFT Amazing Therapist. Very empathetic but not too much. Doesn’t focus on problems, uses them as a guide to get the tools you need for therapy. He helps YOU, not the problem you have. That way you can fix your problem every time. We can’t all go to therapy for life. He finds what’s best for YOU. I can’t speak more highly of Alison. I had a really difficult time trying to decide to get back into therapy, but decided to give it another try and instantly felt heard and understood. This is a wonderful office. Highly recommend
