If you read no other part of this review please read this: Spencer Springs does not care if your animal dies on their watch. I've been going to them for about a year. My cat was sick so I took him in. This was in early May & they had no appointments until the end of May. But they do have walk in hours. I saw Dr. Courdrey who has the bedside manner of a houseplant. Not bad if you only want to update you dog's shots. However, don't bring your dog here for a surgery of any kind. Our young puppy developed an abscess near the groin. Dr. Costa wanted to do exploratory surgery. Several hundred dollars later he was no better. She wanted put him under again for a second surgery, and charge me again. I let it happen and the result was the same. Dr. Costa must of been so embarrassed that she would not even come speak to me after his post operation visit. Please learn from my mistake. I do not recommend nor will I ever return with my dog. There is a very serious lack of quality of care. Nor is the supervision adequate. Staff are blamed for all actions.

We chose Spencer Springs because all of my girlfriends family goes here. Initially, we fell in love because Dr Griffin is so incredible and I still stand by that. Unfortunately, we got a new kitten and brought her to Spencer springs for a normal check up. They had to do her exam in the back because she was so skittish. We were unable to supervise the treatment of our cat back there but we trusted them. We were told she sounded great and healthy.
