Dr. Amundsen was so great at taking the time to answer all of my questions... and I had a lot! He put me at ease and the surgery went well and I'm now recovering quickly. Highly recommend.
Dr. Amundsen performed an anterior hip replacement for me on November10. We arrived at the hospital at 7:30am. Dr. Amundsen met with me and I was in the OR by 8:15am. Soon after I was in recovery and after being able to walk up and down the hall I was discharged that afternoon. I took myself off oxycodone on the 5th day. On the 7th day I was able to walk 20 minutes three times a day without assistance of any kind. Currently I am walking more than two miles a day without a lot of effort or soreness.
