Spencer Air Conditioning and Heating was established in 1960 by Harry Spencer. Mr. Spencer moved to Irving in 1947 after serving in WW II as an Army Airman. While co-piloting a B-17 bomber to England, Mr. Spencer and his crew crash landed on the Greenland ice cap. He miraculously survived 89 days before being rescued. Spencer Air installed a ** Mini-Split 2 years ago and the heat stopped working. Tech was sent out and possibly a sensor. The company said they were looking for a part and after a day said still looking. Parts should be readily available or available from **. After I posted a review of the company they texted that they will no longer service a product they sold and still under warranty. We received a service call request from you on 1/13/2025 and we were at your front door within 2 hours of your request. ******* installed a new system in our home this summer. Everything about that experience was excellent from the sales consultation, to the installation, to the discussion afterward about the operation of the thermostat and the service for preparation of changing to heating. Spensers product of the Carrier line is top notch. We will use Spenser exclusively for our HVAC needs.
Very dishonest and unreliable! I had a tech from Spencer Air come out to restore service to my air conditioner on 6/17/24. The tech was very professional and diagnosed problem but stated that ****** would have to order the part needed for repair. I called the next day around noon to learn when to expect the part. ****** wasn't in but office staff said they would check and let me know. We have used Spencer since 2020. We find them to be responsive and knowledgeable and efficient. They were very helpful when we had to replace our HVAC system.
