Your Hometown Hardware Store Spence Hardware has some of the most helpful and nice people working for them of any hardware store in the area- they are also more knowledgable than most of their competitors. In addition, it is welcome to East Moscow residents who don't want to head all the way to Tri-State. The prices are not always low, but they are reasonable, and I don't mind paying a few more cents for a good retail experience.
Love Spence Hardware and it's Expanding I go to Spence Hardware all the time. They are price competitive and very friendly. They offer discounts a nice bulk discount on Diamond Naturals dog food when you buy 4 bags which really saves money since I have two dogs. They also carry Nutro and Purina as well as feed for all other types of animals. LUV Spence Hardware LUV to go into Spence hardware. Staff are excellent and always find what I need for my animals. If they don't have it, they'll order it for me. Enjoy browsing through their horse tack and they have a very good supply of medical supplies.
helpful staff, yet higher prices this store is actually called "Spence Hardware". This is one of the two major hardware stores in town, with another being Tristate. I personally like tristate better and I think most local people would agree as in spence there are generally one or two customers in the store at any given time (don't know how they survive) but lots more in tristate. I visit this store when strstate runs out of something. they staff is knowledgeable and helpful if you ask but they are just not competitive.
