I went in to see Dr. Kim for a contact lens fitting and exam. I called first to verify that they took my insurance and find out what the co-pay would be. I was told that it would be about $20 - $30. When I sat down for my exam, the doctor told me that the contact lens exam and fitting would be $250. I was surprised that the co-pay was that high and asked the doctor about it - she said it was because it was my first contact lens prescription. Feel free to call the office as I have posted on your yelp response that matches this one above. We refunded your money one business day after you came in for your exam. We called the insurance company to verify the insurance. We apologize for the error.
