Stop by looking for a boogie board, but they didn't have one! However, place was great and had tons of cool stuff! Subway was fresh and good!!!
Half the staff here is adequate and the other half worthless. It's 50/50 depending on who you get. One of the women there in particular is about the worst worker I've ever seen. Her attitude is very poor and when (or IF) she bothers to speak to you, she sounds exasperated and like she hates her job. Her forced 'thank you' at the end sounds like it causes her actual physical pain to get out. It's the most 'I'm only saying this because they make me' line you will ever hear. What does a guy hanging aroung the store have anything to do with how you rate store? If you don't want to deal with this type of stuff then go somewhere else.
There is a creepy little hispanic guy that hangs out at Speedy Stop and acts like he is security at night. After speaking to the night clerk, he informed me that he is not employed there or is a licensed security guard. This guy is very RUDE and insulted my boyfriend, who happens to be black. He interogated hhim like he was a gangster or something. Asking him where he has been, has he been drinking, ect. I furious. The night clerk asked him to leave the customers alone and move on. when I go into speedy stop late at night, I always feel hesitate because of the customers that hang out around the store at night. However, since they have hired the new night clerk, Scott, I feel safe in doing my shopping at night. he controls the the unsavory clients that hang out to check out who comes and goes. I would like to give him a good " pat on the back" for making the women customers feel safe. Way to go Speedy Stop !
