Overcharged, Taken Advantage Of After being charged almost $500 for a simple disposal replacement on a rental property, I started calling around to other plumbers (which I should have done to begin with) and that Speedy Rooter has a reputation for being dishonest business people. I got to see it first hand. I found I was charged $150 more than most other local plumbers charge, the installed disposer was bottom of the line, and makes even more noise than the broken disposer.
