I had the distinct privilege of visiting 883 Kipling ave, Speedy Glass Etobicoke today,Tuesday august 5,2025, after calling to inquire about reattaching my rearview mirror which has fallen off. These gentlemen at this location are very professional and human in their dealing with customers. Not just myself. I have witnessed their approach to other customers who entered the building. Asked for a quote. After providing my vehicle information I was told that he would have to open up a file. No problem, how long does that take? “I don’t know” okay well when will you know? “I don’t know” okay well is it an hour, two hours, three hours, one day? “I don’t know I have to open up a file” Yes you mentioned that, obviously you guys have enough business. Jordan at the Etobicoke South location on the other hand had a quote emailed to me within two minutes.
Volvo XC90 had a cracked windshield. My insurance, in their cheap wisdom, said to take it to Speedy to replace the windshield instead of the Volvo dealership. Speedy replaced the glass, and then the same evening I get an SRS airbag error warning. I call speedy the next day, and they say it's not their problem - they only replace the glass they don't touch the airbags. This person obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.
