They change the expensive parts first. My fuel pump control module broke. told them that. They changed the fuel pump and charged me for it. Then changed the control module to actually fix it.
After getting an estimate to repair an exhaust leak from the auto service department of a Canadian store chain that sell everything from small kitchen appliances to nuts and bolts, I went to Speedy since the store's estimate was for virtually an entire exhaust system replacement, with the associate astronomical cost. Speedy's staff diagnosed where the exhaust leak was and replace ONLY the component that was required at a reasonable price, and did it quickly.
