Steve Newman, the owner of Speedway Welding Supply, began this business in July of 1973 out of a dream. He learned how to weld at Lincoln Electric School in the late 60's. In 1963 when he built his first racecar, a '54 Ford jalopy that he raced at the Pines Speedway in Groveland, MA, he knew that the sparks of welding were for him.
