I have been a HUGE fan of Speedplay products for years and I still love their products. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the company. During a descent one of my Speedplay X2 pedals failed resulting in the base of the pedal completing breaking off of the stem. I notified the company and their response was disappointing to say the least. They did not apologize or offer to replace the defective pedal.
