Our daughter had her oil change at the Hendersonville Road location and they left the cap in the passenger side door. When she came to visit us, she left an oil stain in our driveway. My husband noticed the cap was off and I found it in the door. Thanks people. Your carelessness could have blew out my daughter's new engine.

I changed my oil at Speedee on El Camino in San Bruno July 31st. The lady was very bossy and I recognized her. She had been employed there before but was now in charge, She seemed to be bossing the male employees around, and they didn't seem happy. She informed me that I had a "major oil leak" whereupon I informed her that yes. I was aware that my vehicle (1996) had leaked a quart of oil over the past 3500 miles, or six months. While they didn't try to up-sell me other things my older vehicle might have needed, they totally mis-diagnosed my exhaust problem. Their mechanic said the whole exhaust system needed replacement at $1800. After wanting a 2nd opinion, I went to a muffler shop and the problem was correctly diagnosed. The total cost for parts and labor was $300. This is what the public fears most about shops like this who put profits ahead of people.

If I could I would give 0 stars. I had to give one to tell what happened I got my car towed there Feb. 17th and the techs and mechanic flatly refused to work on my car because I am a Black woman (I am sorry to get racial but that is how it is.) And I was going to buy my own parts when they found out what was the issue. I asked them through my spouse who now not employed there numerous times only to be put off until the next week. I"ve been going here since they opened. Their service used to be exceptional, however, with today's oil and filter change, it will be my last visit to Speedy! They no longer wash your windows or vacuum your car. I'd ask for my tires to have precisly 35 PSI each. When I got into my car, each tire had a different pressure. My Lexus gauge (service required) had not been reset. There were only two people ahead of me and it still took just under an hour. One of our employees took our service pickup in. SpeeDee replaced the spark plugs. After noticing that the truck was no performing well, he took it to another shop, who reported that the plugs had not been tightened properly. Sometimes those things happen. I courteously asked for a reasonable credit for the mistake...which was denied. I'm not going back.

I have been going here for a few years for basic things oil change tires but lately needed other things supposedly but one thing was a wheel bearing they told me it would be $625 for one side so I went somewhere else same thing half the price so realized what they do is double the labor and parts so they lost this customer and I hope some people pay attention and realize before they spend a small fortune
