As a woman, I want to get an oil change where someone cares! I always feel like someone is ripping me off. Not here!!! Abe was SO helpful! I felt like family. If you want to be taken care, don’t go to Uncle Eds, go to Uncle Abe’s!
Our son had his oil changed on Thursday, 11/7 and it appears the technician either failed to install the oil filter or did not tighten it properly. Other than installing a new oil filter and replenishing the oil, the establishment has done nothing else to remedy the situation. Our son is incurring numerous charges, including car rental, towing and another shop diagnosing the engine to see if it s even worth repairing. They did a great job with my transmission fluid change on my 1999 Crown Victoria. I watched the manager herself grind off the guck, clean the pan out and other parts and install a new gasket before replacing the fluid and tightening up the bolts. They told me to bring the car back free of charge to check that everything was tight and secure. Cost was less than I would have thought, too (did an oil change with Mobil One). I will take my car back, even though I read the other negative reviews.
SCAM. They showed me dirty trans. stick with chips. Freaked out when I pulled out maintance book. Was done 2 months ago. Went back to Trans. Place, was red and clean. Oil change lasted 2900 miles ,norm for me is 5600 miles. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !
I would not recommend this company to anybody. I was very unsatisfied with their service. They use cheap oil filters, forgot to put my skid plate back on, and lost the bolt to my transmission dipstick. I was not informed of these problems until I went to a Nissan dealership (two days later). If I did not call Speedzone Lube back they probably would not have notified me that my skid plate was still at their shop. They put my skid plate back on, but did not offer any compensation for inconveniencing me.
