During my 50+ years in the antique auto hobby twelve of which were in the restoration business I have used many chrome plating shops. There always seemed to be a problem with either quality, turn around time or price. In some instances all three. Had been looking for a chrome plater for the longest time to work on my collectables and restorations. Heard about Craig at a show I went to and now will only use him. Speed and Sport Chrome Plating is the best there is !
I had Speed and Sport Chrome plate some bumper medallions for my 1929 Chevy. They look fantastic and my experience with Craig was professional and friendly. Excellent service. I do wish they offered an alternative to the shipping, insurance and COD charges. They seemed excessive but do not take away from the quality of their work.
Called for a quote on Chroming some bumpers on my 59 and I had a few questions about how the Chrome Plating Process worked. After Speaking with Craig I sent him my bumpers and within a matter of days of him receiving them I got a called from his son who was quite the gentleman and told me they were already done! Man that triple chrome is unbelievable! Thanks Craig!
They lost some of the pieces we took them and didn't really seem to care that they lost them!!
