We recently installed their kit on a 1954 Cadillac Deville. We've installed another brand of adapters on a 60 Cadillac Deville and it was an absolute nightmare so we were reluctant to do another but this kit was seamless. They were very helpful with determining what kit to order based on the 54 being a transition year with two bellhousing options. They were extremely helpful with a serious problem I had with another brand kit! Spoke to their tech for almost an hour. We purchased Speed Gems adaptor for a GM trans to Ford Y-block. It showed up in less than 3 days, upon install the car cranked and was able to start effortlessly! Speed Gems solved 3 months of problems, the back n forth game with the other vendor blaming the install... Brad talked me off a ledge 3 times in one day with getting me the right parts for putting an early Olds motor in a 32 Ford. Cannot imagine having anything but a great experience with these folks.
Defective products.1: Starter will not mesh with ring gear. 2: ring gear welded wrong side. 3: No provision to bolt up torque converter. Made several efforts to have defective issues fixed, drove 3 hours to return and assist in explanation of issues. Drove back following week and received replacement plate with same problems.
