Shar is an incredible speech therapist. She helped my daughter so much. I appreciated the fun games she played to make speech engaging and how encouraging and supportive she was. She was easy to work with and very professional - everything I hoped for. She was a critical part of my daughter's development and I am grateful for all of her support!
We are so glad we found Shar. Her many years of experience as a speech therapist is evident and she is very good at what she does. She has a warm and playful nature that puts students at ease. We came to Shar when we chose to homeschool. My student had speech therapy for 4 years prior and was just needing a little help mastering a few more sounds to complete services. He made quick progress working with Shar. We are so grateful for her support.
Shar was wonderful to work with! My second grader was nervous for his first visit and she was so kind and welcoming. She let me know what was going on throughout the lessons so I could understand how to help at home. She was so encouraging and patient the whole time. My son can say things so clearly now! Ms. Shar was the best decision I could have made to help my son with his speech challenges. When we first came to Ms. Shar, my son's Ls were Ws, his Js were Gs, his CH was KUH, his SH was SUH, his TH was FUH, in short he was difficult to understand unless you were his Mama, and his speech was impeding his ability to learn how to read. Shar has been so amazing to work with! My son was in early intervention and qualified for services through our school district, but we were seeing hardly any progress. After working with Shar for about a year he has gone from mostly unrecognizable vocalizations and being unable to follow structured lessons, to where he will sit and respond to questions and even speak in 3-5 word sentences.
