I have absolutely loved bringing my son here for Speech. Deb runs a great facility and I feel like my son thrived coming here. He spent about a year and a half seeing Emily for his speech and made so much improvement. He technically graduated from needing speech therapy but if for some reason it needs to be revisited, we will definitely come back!
We were lucky to bring our three-year-old daughter to Speech Matters, working with Christina for over a year. She made great progress, and Christina did a great job of keeping us in the loop with how we could help our daughter's speech improve. In addition, the office staff and owner Deb are extremely on top of the administrative pieces, and were super helpful as we navigated this new-to-us process. Thanks Deb, Christina, and team.
We started at speech matters last April with Hilary for reading my son is dyslexic and she was great starting with the program Lips. Our needs are a bit different this year and we are seeing Jenna for articulation and speech once a week. Kathy and Deb in the office have been wonderful helping me navigate insurance. Jenna and Hilary eagerly communicate with my son’s school to make sure goals were aligning accordingly. They are amazing and you will not be disappointed working with them.
Speech matters is a wonderful place. From the therapists who worked there, the warm welcome at the door, and the resources they provide. If someone is seeking support for a loved one, this is the place to go to!
Speech Matters is a fabulous group of people. We probably had a unique experience where we didn't have a singular person each week. Since we live walking distance and there wasn't an available weekly slot, we were a "cancellation" filler. We went when there was time. Each therapist communicated with the previous person from the last round and were generally up to date and were able to build on skills and homework. And our child has just recently graduated! Highly recommend
