This place has been a God-send for us! Micah has only been coming for a month and he already is asking “when can we eat?” all the time now. He’s even asking to eat at steakhouses and bar-b-que; things we never thought possible. He has been clinically underweight his whole life- now he is playing sports with kids his age and not being knocked down for being so tiny/thin. Shout out to Miss Ana for being so patient and having so many tricks up her sleeve to help us.
This is by far the best speech place. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the therapists are amazing.
My son has been here for about 2.5 years and he went from saying 2-3 words at age 2 to whole sentences at age 3. They have worked extremely hard with him and he LOVES coming here! He doesn’t get too overwhelmed like he has at other places. His therapists are amazing and scheduling is very flexible!
We had multiple issues with the speech and language center at Stone Oak. Our son has feeding issues and needed to be seen quickly. The evaluation was done and 3 weeks later the therapist still had NOT written the evaluation to submit to insurance. 3weeks!!!! Unacceptable! This is patient neglect. They tried blaming our insurance company, but they hadn't even submitted the documentation. They were always quick to point their fingers at everyone else but themselves. Ms Jennifer has done amazing things for my son. She is always completely honest and helpful with plenty of suggestions. My only fallback is the need a bigger waiting room.
Most professional therapists and staff. I love how you get updated on every visit of your child's progress in the privacy of the therapy room not in the waiting room like all other places we have been. Thank you for taking the time to honor my child's privacy and allow me to ask questions and get information without the chaos of a waiting room.
