Amazing care and great speech therapists!
My 37 weeker came to Chan as a referral from our pediatric dentist. We were referred due to having a lip/tongue tie that would need a laser. Come to find out, our baby had oral dysfunction from the ties and they were the root of our babies reflux. Before tie release chan worked with us to help babies tongue with cupping to be able to suck. Baby progressed slowly but surely but even more after the tie release. I started feeding therapy with Chan for my 2 yo and we did weekly sessions with such a HUGE improvement in just a month’s time. She was so gentle with him (and he’s slow to warm up to people) and he didn’t feel pressured with her during our sessions. You can tell she’s great with kids! I also appreciated how thorough she was in her explanation of everything, his plan of care, treatment, expectations with therapy, and all his homework pieces. We first sought out a speech therapist when the school’s therapy was providing only minimal improvement. I attribute my child’s speech growth entirely because of her thoughtful, individual care for my child. If you want to see speech goals met, you have found the one. Mrs. Chan is amazing!
We came to Speech to Petites almost 2 years ago; and I have to say this has been the best experience. Mrs Chan is so caring and compassionate and finds ways to incorporate games while helping my son. My son went from not being able to click his tongue to now he can successfully do it . We are still working with her but I have to say Speech for Petites is a true blessing for us!! 10/10
