If I could leave one start I would! Absolutely ridiculous waits, they screwed my kid over who’s been on. The waitlist for OVER A YEAR!! I have called several times to see where she is on the waitlist and no one EVER told me her evaluation lapsed so, she would have to go back at the bottom of the list! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! Why waste my time for an evaluation if you can’t even see her yet! Do better for these children!!!
I new at a very young age my son was delayed, I was fighting the system and insurance. The state told me he was fine at 2 years old but has daycare said they could see something going on. As a parent it’s so frustrating to want to help but hitting a dead end after dead end. We came across John Hopkins and did our initial eval In St. Pete. That was also a great experience. We live in new port richey so this location made more sense. Our son was able to get in for speech therapy 2 days a week with teacher Janine she is a doll!... read more
