Your office staff, specifically scheduling supervisor “Cindy”, have absolutely ZERO understanding of what it is like to have a daughter/son suffering from shunt failure. Cindy is unprofessional and thoughtless. If they do not eventually get rid of this woman for her treatment of patients, it is because they are afraid of her.
This review is primarily for the office staff... The office staff, especially the diagnostic scheduler for this office (Erika) has been very difficult to work with. Until I made the threat to speak with the office manager, I would not have my calls returned in a timely manner and was fobbed off with excuses for her delays. She has now been better about returning my calls. Dr. Belknap's nurse upon my initial visit was also very short and sharp with me, offering no bedside manner or friendliness. McDonald looked right into my eyes and told me positively, "I can guarantee you Bob, your neuropathy in your legs and feet will completely be gone, and feeling restored within 6 months" That was in December of 2014. The operation was done just before Christmas at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell. 2 weeks after surgery I went to Spectrum Neurosury office. I was having serious complications. My experience was great pre and post surgery. I had surgery on my lower back for pain there and sciatic pain down both legs along with numbness in my feet. Almost all of the pain and numbness was gone the minute I woke up. I still go there for a neck surgery I need in the future and I can tell you that Dr. Macdonald, his medical staff and his front desk are the best around!
