They hire anybody, trained or not. I wouldn't want somebody caring for my loved one, especially if they aren't trained. As for employment, I used to work for them and they refused to pay me for the last three weeks that I was there. At that time, pay was only $12.50/hour. Prior, I was making $10.00/hour. After my boyfriend explained that nobody in the medical field should be paid minimum wage, I started to look for another job. Personally, I have seen the level of professionalism and care that is required and non-negotiable of the staff that are placed in homes.
We used Spectrum Home Care & they were truly wonderful. Highly recommend them! Denise especially is so incredibly caring!
