I was a long time customer of Julie, Joseph, and the gang at Spectacles. There's nothing about them that I can't recommend. Scheduling appointments was very easy and convenient. Additionally when I had persistent double conjunctivitis and had to see a specialist (as opposed to my primary care doctor), they got me in quickly and also followed up to make sure there was no long term damage. Our whole family goes there, including our two children, and we've been going there for years. Dr. Haloua is very thorough and we trust het tremendously. Unfortunately, our insurance changed and we have to get our glasses elsewhere now. But, they have reasonably priced glasses if $$ is tight.
Great Experience – I recently purchased new glasses at Spectacles and found it to be the finest experience I have had when buying glasses. My brother had recommended Spectacles as being an excellent firm which he has been dealing with for many years. Although I did not need an eye examination my prescription was filled perfectly. Most expensive glasses shop ever – The frames I chose were $225 and was told the lenses to fit them would be $160. When I returned the next week, the lenses were now $290. With the eye exam, I was already looking at spending $440 in total. But, $570? So, I wanted to jot down style number of the frames to ask my optician friend in another state her opinion on if I really needed a certain type of lens to have progressives. Great selection, thorough exam, helpful staff – I've been visiting Spectacles for years, and I can highly recommend them. Julie's exams are very thorough, and she will work with you to get your prescription to meet your needs (even if it requires followup visits to fine-tune). Her husband, Joseph, is the optician there, and he and their staff have always been willing to take the time that I needed to track down the perfect frame.
