I recently got new prescriptions and I was in the market for to frames. I came to this store because I heard positive reviews about Specsavers company in general. Upon entering, I was welcomed by one of the staff members and after a moment a consultant, Carla, introduced herself and offered assistance. Once I informed Carla of what I was looking for she diligently directed me to a selection of frames similar to my style, also informing me about their BOGO sale. Amazing staff and an amazing environment. I strongly recommend this location.
I've been seeing Carla every year after my follow up visit for the last few years. All I can say is she is so professional and has a wonderful personality. She never pushes me to get a pair of glasses I dont like. Carla has made my experiences amazing, I always leave feeling good about the glasses I get.
My husband and I went in for an eye checkup a month ago. I was excited because it was my first time in the country. Carla was pleasant and served my hubby first. When it was my turn, insurance denied me telling I wasn't in the system. Ghana attempted to redo my information using my maiden name, but it still failed. I had to pay the C$109 first, and my husband called the insurance company twice to confirm spousal coverage. Maybe after five or six attempts, I was approved (just needed my complete maiden name) and was refunded.... read more
