just bought six bottles of wine at the 290 and Jones Road store and was rather abruptly told that Specs did not offer any discounts when you purchase six bottles or more...every other major liquor store and grocery store in Houston does so...guess where I have to go now to purchase wine...
Like always, treated very nice by everyone at the store. Unfortunately I had to go EARLY in the morning just to b able to buy some Hennessey cuz they run out quick REAL QUICK. Thank u SPECS
Ya need to ease up on the Deli staff. Each one of them are angels trying the best.

Great store it has some if not all you need Watkins seasonings is one of reason's we go,but its always good to grab a brandy.
My wife and I went to a wine tasting event showcasing wines from Argentina. I recommend, to those interested, attending these events in order to broaden one's appreciation of wines from around the world. Spec's wine tastings are a wonderful classroom for the novice and experienced wine person.
