I have been going to this place since November of 2023, when a Sunday emergency lead to a discovery that my dog was not well. We see the doctor here for renal issues - my pups got a bum liver. Lately I’ve been going in almost monthly. Here’s what I’ve noticed: Pros: - I have been working with the same staff since 2023. I’ve been to other vets with extremely high turnover but I’m able to establish a rapport with the folks who give my dog care. - they don’t keep all animals kenneled all day. The staff is wonderful at Specialty VetMed. I can't say much about the Drs. as I've never personally meet Dr. Moon or Dr. Green. I can say they take great care of 2 of my dogs that have chronic illnesses. I feel my pets are very well taken care off when visiting Specialty VetMed and I would definitely recommend them to all of my family and friends.
Dr Green, Dr Moon and the entire staff took such good care of my black lab Griffey as he dealt with a protein disease for several years. They also treated Griffey with such care and compassion. We just lost Griffey earlier this month but I know we had a couple of extra years thanks to the care of the staff at Specialty Vet Med.
