I was traveling through Mobile when my transmission blew on me. I found this place and they were so helpful with everything up to and including transportation to my hotel that I had to book while it was being fixed. The best, friendly and honest staff I have ever had experience with. I highly recommend this spot if you run into any problems with your car.

Worst experience ever mechanic Lee Packer was very in professional and this shop likes to take advantage of women by charging them more. When I went in for a quote I was told 2 different estimates and after I became upset mechanic Lee Packer offered to do job "on the side" (as he calls it) for a cheaper price. This is unacceptable as a business owner myself I would not tolerate such behavior from employees STAY AWAY THIS BUSINESS. AND ITS WORKERS ARE CROOKED!

I WAS TRAVELING THROUGH MOBILE, AL. WHEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN MY TRANSMISSION STARTED TO DOWN SHIFTING, ME NOT KNOWING ANYONE FROM THERE I CALLED THE LOCAL DEALER AND HAD IT TOWED IN 4 HOURS LATER THEY TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED A NEW TRANSMISSION. I was completely unsatisfied with the service iI received at Specialty Transmission & Auto Repair. I was charged over $200 to get my transmission fluid refilled. The job was supposedly completed in about and hour and fifteen minutes so I was charged for two hours. I am sure it could have been done in less than an hour. I was also charged for "cleaner" and a "new gasket" which I was not given the option of saying yes or no to.
