Do not shop from this business. Their prices are ridiculous and the guy Doug pretends to be helpful but ended up being a liar and not owning up to his words. He sold my grandpa a wheelchair which we decided to cancel the next day before we ever received it. This guy Doug said give him a month to sell the chair which he said he can sell it for more than what we paid. We told him we don't want any profit and want the $2,399 back. My father-in-law paid $2,399 for a lightweight electric wheelchair from Specialty Medical in Pomona after speaking with Doug there for about a week. When we all went into the shop together (me, my wife, my mother-in-law, and my mom), Doug told my father-in-law directly that if he ended up not wanting the chair it wouldn’t be a problem because he could easily sell it. The wheel on my daughters wheelchair broke. She can not get around without her wheelchair so we had an urgent need to get it repaired or replaced. We called Speciality Medical and spoke with Doug. I can't begin to express how much he helped us, how knowledgeable he was and how great his customer service was.
