I would rather live in a horrible one star apartment complex than ever live in a place “managed” by Specialty Management Company. They were out on the prowl towing cars just days before Christmas! They have the most absurd rules, and the worst HOA Karen’s prowling the blocks 24/7. They micromanage parking that should be public, and completely ignore the piles of animal feces left around the community! So far, the experience is just ok. Staff may not be terribly rude, but they’re not the nicest or very helpful either. What you must never forget is that WE homeowners are part of the HOA and we hired/pay you with our association dues. WE are the customers you are committed to serve. We shouldn’t be super respectful only to not receive the same if not better. Too many community management companies act more like HOA board enforcers and forget to actually serve the community they work for. Remember that.

We live in a small community of roughly 107 homes. Becky with Specialty Management Company is our Property Manager and she does an amazing job! Her knowledge of the community and its needs is exceptional. She has been very responsive any time I have contacted her regarding an issue, typically getting back to me within minutes. Becky is always looking at ways to improve the community and maintain our property values. We truly appreciate her work ethic and her joyful demeanor.
