I have been using Specialty Alarm for over a decade and they have given us great service. I love when I call them they know who I am. I'm not an account number, I'm a person. To me it is worth the money to pay a little extra for services and get great service.
Spoke to several businesses who have had issues dealing with Specialty Alarm. The owner Mike can come off friendly but is extremely cut throat and will change terms on you. Read over your contracts with them, they are extremely favorable to SAE and they limit their liability in case they mess up on your installation. Beware
Did a job for us. We paid for one year of monitoring upfront. Mike, the owner gave us a payment plan on the install. I guess his business struggled and he got desperate for money and demanded his money all at once. When we couldn't afford it, he contacted the local fire department and had us flagged. ABSOLUTE TERRIBLE COMPANY GO TO ANY OTHER COMPANY FOR YOUR MONITORING AND INSTALLS
