Going through the negative reviews here I can understand them, and why it may put some people off. If you’re looking for handholding and extra reassurance this might not be the place for you. However if you’re reassured by your clinician’s expertise and knowledge, and it’s clear Dr Michael has both, then you’re in great hands. I had my NT scan here today, and overall the experience was mixed. The doctor was excellent — very professional, patient, and reassuring. We were genuinely happy with the scan itself. However, the experience with the reception staff was quite disappointing. The receptionist appeared impatient and unfriendly from the beginning. After our appointment, she complained that we should have mentioned it was a twin pregnancy when booking. The specialist seemed to be in a rush to see the next patient. On the form, I had clearly mentioned that I previously had an ectopic pregnancy, but he did not read this before starting the scan. He also did not seem to understand what he was seeing on the scan, despite the fact that my tube is absent. The main purpose of the scan was to check the size of my cyst, but he was unable to find it and instead questioned me about it, which was confusing and frustrating.
