I took 2 pair of glasses in and the owner repaired one pair while I waited - about 20 minutes. Cost me $45, however no one else could repair. The second pair of glasses is ready and I'm going to get them. They cost me $350 with frames and transition/UV lenses. The repair cost will be $35. I'm taking a 3rd pair in as I had 4 pairs of glasses and all of them lost an arm because I often fall asleep while reading/watching tv. They bend and break. This is the best!!!
Outstanding experience. Only place in town that could fix my glasses after many many stops elsewhere. It did take a little while but who wouldnt expect delays when they are the only place around who cab do complicated repairs. Very knowlegeable and resonable cpompared to replacing my glasses.
If you have children who wear glasses, you need to have Specialeyes in Kettering on speed dial! They have saved many school days for our family.
I've been going to this guy for years. He isn't fast, but he is very good and has always taken care of me and my family. He's fixed glasses from other places were they wouldn't even try. I would recommend this place as long as you don't need new glasses quickly.
Not Pleased With This Service – My experience with this place is pretty much the same as the person who wrote the first review. I was refered to this place by Entyre Vision Care. I dropped my daughter's eyeglasses off on a Saturday morning. The guy in the shop told me that all he needed to do was attach the arm of her glasses back on but it would be done in two days. Waste of time – I was directed here when my glasses broke, by Target. I dropped off my glasses and the guy was very hasty with me. He looked at them and said it was a very common break and he had what was needed to fix it, then he had me write my name and number on a piece of paper (and that's it?? AND didn't give me an estimate). He said he'd call me later to let me know about my glasses.
