Special Touch Upholstery did an excellent job on my seat cushions for my dining room chairs and bar stools. Turnaround time was less than a week. The price was very reasonable. Karen was very helpful in figuring out how much fabric to order. I bought the fabric at Mill Agent upholstery shop which is about a block from Special Touch Upholstery. It was a special order, and it came in the next day which is pretty amazing. I would definitely use both shops again.

Karen and Special Touch did a fabulous job on my 1963, Danish modern couch. They not only raised the seat cushion so it would be more comfortable for my husband, but they replaced the bead trim around the wood and the buttons on the seat. There was exactly one button on the couch when they picked it up. They did take around a month to do the work. However, I am thrilled with the work they did and I would recommend them to anyone.

This company has had my chair for over 2 months and they quoted me 4 weeks. When I called today to tell them I was just going to pick it up she said they had it "tore apart". I asked her when it would be completed and she said "oh maybe this week, or the week after but we are closing the shop for vacation". I asked if she would be discounting or crediting me any of the money for the inconvenience and she laughed and said " I don't give discounts". This is a terrific, locally-owned shop that did an excellent job reupholstering a large living room chair and ottoman. We needed it by a certain date, and they delivered as promised. They are friendly and professional.
