Wonderful doc! Friendly, kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuine. I have been seeing him for probably 10 years, and always leave smiling and thankful for his care. Office staff is great, too.
This man was terrible. Callous and uncaring to family members, disregarded opinions of other mental health professionals in the hospital, refused to change diagnosis (preferring medication). When we finally got our family member out of his "care" and brought this person to a nationally respected hospital the team of doctors made a scathing note in their report re the kind/amount of meds he prescribed. "Drs" like Spears are responsible for part of the brokenness of the mental health system.
Best doctor I have ever encountered. So grateful to have him as my doc. Helped me when I needed it the most and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable about anything. He is extremely compassionate and kind and truly wants to help. Anyone who would have him as a doctor would be very lucky!
