This place is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, which is saying a lot considering how much time I spend in hotels. The whole property is gorgeous and the rooms are so charming and absolutely spotless. The toiletries and bath linens were nicer than some hotels that are twice as expensive. The staff were amazing too. We had a big group here for a wedding and they took such great care of us. I will definitely be finding an excuse to come back sometime in the future!

I recently had a wedding here, and it was the most magical experience of my life. First off, the staff at the lodge are incredible (and that's putting it lightly!). Not only did all my friends and family feel so welcome and taken care of, but my husband and I were so spoiled here. The staff asked questions, got to know us, and it really felt like we had such a good connection with the people at the lodge by the time we left. This place never disappoints. It’s beautifully nestled, and the Spearfish Canyon. All of the waterfalls are within walking distance. You can take day trips from the central location and see so many amazing things in the Black Hills.

I just think the ac unit didnt work well. We could've used more wash clothes. It was clean though and even though it was pretty full there it was still quiet. Overall was a nice stay. The restaurant was awesome! The hiking to see some nature was sweet too.

We stayed at the lodge for our anniversary and had the best time. The staff, especially Dianna at the front desk, was so welcoming and friendly. We brought our dog and appreciated how welcoming staff was to her in addition to us. Our room was very comfortable, the views and location were lovely, and we enjoyed the hot tub deck as well. We also enjoying the inviting lobby where we could get takeout from the restaurant then grab a drink from the lobby bar and enjoy dinner near the fire with our dog.
