As a former cancer patient, I have had my fair share of hospital experiences. If not for Speare, I could say that all have been pleasant. Unfortunately, after a multitude of awful and even life-threatening visits, I find myself posting this review not only as a complaint and criticism but as a warning to prospective patients. I've been debating posting this for a while, but my experience with some of the nursing staff here was absolutely horrid. I'd been puking for a week, couldn't even hold down water, and was in a significant amount of pain with pancreatitis. One nurse, Jess, was straight up YELLING at another staff member about keeping her insulin on the desk, then when I pressed the call light she stomped in like a moody teenager and when I asked for a popsicle (on a food plan that was basically just jello, broth, and popsicles) she made a fa... read more
Faster that concord hospital in laconia by far. Staff is helpful and care about their work.
We were visiting Plymouth from out of town when my husband needed emergency evaluation. We experienced no wait, very pleasant and courteous staff, and quick treatment. The reception staff, physician, nurse and paramedic who treated him were thorough and reassuring throughout our visit. We can't say enough positive things about this ER. Thank you for your kind and compassionate care!
