I was absolutely SHOCKED when I called to make a spay appointment and was informed that it would cost between $850-$975 to spay my 50-60lb dog! Not that the SPCA cares, but this is an organization that advocates for spay/neuter and then up the price out of range for most normal dog owners. When I took my other dog there, it was about 2.5 times cheaper and was actually affordable! Its really too bad as they do a great job with the spay.
