The service was scheduled two days after I called. They do not charge for a trip to give an estimate. The worker called before arriving and came at the designated time. The worker quoted me a price for replacing a leaking outdoor water faucet, which involved cutting a 1 foot by 1 foot section of an indoor wall. EVERYTHING WENT WRONG - PLEASE DON'T IGNORE!!! All I wanted was an honest, compliant re-pipe job. I am a 64-year old widow, and I needed a water re-pipe job at my home. I found Spartan Services Inc. on Angie's List. What Spartan Services, Inc. did is hard for me to accept that it was done innocently. Unfortunately there are two sides to every story. Spartan Services tried to work through these issues with the customer with full intentions of correcting everything but chose to walk away from this job due to the customer being hostile, unreasonable, and threatening. Spartan has refunded the full amount of the initial cost.
We called Spartan Services because the bathroom in our basement was backing up and we could not get it unclogged. I had a wonderful experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone. Both Kandi and Mark were amazing. They made us feel comfortable and well informed through the whole process. Kandi was a calming voice during a hectic situation. I am an elderly woman, and called Spartan about a leaky faucet/washer connection and asked about the hourly rate. Was told there is no hourly rate, just a job rate. When I explained my concern about paying a hefty fee for a small job, the employee reassured me that she understood and that the cost would be explained to me prior to the work and I could then say no.
