Incredibly Delicious! – I went here with my Meetup dining out group, and I have to say it was a most memorable experience for me... The food was incredibly delicious... I got the buffet, and could not believe the quality of the food.... Everything was absolutely delicious... I had a pasta dish with shrimp and feta and tomatoes that was absolutely the most delicous dish I have ever had in a restaurant... I had mussels in garlic sauce that was excellent also... What? – With respect to earlier review(er)s, I don't know Chicago, but I do know Greek food, and this place isn't all it's been said to be. Dishes have been consistently weakly prepared and uninspired, and some (especially if they're from the much-touted "buffet") have been downright bad. Service is inattentive, and sometimes even vaguely hauty, leaving one to wonder what in the world there is to be hauty about.
User review by swiiiila – Some night when the wait at other South Square restaurants is an hour, why not try Spartacus, right across from Macaroni Grill where you can get in right away. The staff is super friendly, the food is excellent (try the rice pudding) and the atmosphere is cozy and colorful. At lunch there is a great buffet. Children are treated with respect too. Parking is ample. The price is a little high but not really considering the quality of the food and service.
OOOPAH !! – I moved from Chicago where we have a Greek town where all the food is good. My experience at Spartacus was just as good as in Chicago. The Gyros were excellently cooked, as was everthing on the lunch buffet. All you can eat, and believe me, you want to eat more and more!
Great for Catering Parties! – We had our Departmental Holiday Party for Duke University at Spartacus. The food was bountiful and superb! As the event planner for the group (250 people!), I was showered with compliments (which belong to Spartacus!) The service was FIVE STAR. The STAFF was AMAZING. We look forward to using them for catering during the year. Along with looking forward to future parties there! On top of great food, the atmosphere is TRENDY! Thanks! Janice B.
Great Greek Food! – This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Triangle. The food is excellent from the items offered on the menu to their buffet they have periodically. If you like Greek food at all, I would highly recommend this place.
