Sparta provided lawn services on our lawn 23 April. They were very responsive on initial contact and came out quickly to provide an estimate. The recommendation by Colt was to do a liquid aeration, topsoil, Pete Moss, over-seeding, palm tree trimming, bush trimming and one time lawn cut. Total for all work was $3783.00. Work was completed in one day, but I had to call them back to do some fine tuning. Everything look good after the first two trips. The good...quoting was easy and the crew that was sent to my home kicked absolute ass on the actual installation. The bad...project management and coordination don't have a clue, and will not take responsibility or return calls. Was told installation of sod would happen by Wednesday 4/29, but when schedule shifted, we had to call them and they stated we should have gotten an email. We did not get emails for Tuesday or Wednesday, but they stated that wasn't their fault either apparently..... -Ssod was delivered to the curb... read more

Sad to write this review. We were customers of Sparta lawn for almost two years and they were great up until we needed to report property damage. We had a team member accidentally damage our front walkway and they did not notify us. We didn’t notice until we left the house later that day. Upon noticing we immediately emailed Sparta with the subject line “property damage” and got no response. I attempted to call 2-3 times for next three days and finally got an answer on the 3rd day. What kind of business calls their customer to accuse them of lying about getting work done and not paying, when the business mistakenly opened 2 accounts for them? Not only that but they also reached out first to ask if I had any concerns and when I voiced them, they didn't even pretend to care. My aeration and overseeding service was done on 5/12.
