First they were late to deliver, then they delivered to the wrong address. When I finally got my order the milkshake was melted, the food was cold, and 2 hours had passed since I had ordered my food. COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!!!!
Were huge fans of the Jefferson Diner but yesterday we wanted to try out the Sparta Classic Diner after seeing the signs for so long..Food was great, Service could use a little work... I ordered the Chicken Fajitas (which were great!) but my waitress brought out the tortillas and the sides before my actual chicken, So I sat there for a min with lettuce,cheese,sour cream thinking "Wait?..Didn't I order Chicken?" Sorry but this diner is not the best in NJ nor are their ridiculous prices. What does a foot long hot dog look like in a foot long bun? How about half the dog with the bun over powering the hot dog. And cutting it in half was like cutting a tire. LOL! What a joke! Food quality is not the best but is fair. The inside is nicely decorated but the staff can use more training. YOU do not assume the customer will pass you the dirty dishes off the table! Goes for the waitresses and bus boys! Geesh! Such laziness!
Great lunch specials, nice portions. Everything was delicious. Beautiful decor inside & out. Try the burger over mashed potatoes!
This is the worst diner in the area. Just went there with my wife and 1.5 year old son and had an over cooked dried out burger, a turkey sandwich a kids Mac and cheese side of veggies, two sodas and juice for $50. Unreal, the owners should be disgraced. I, nor anyone I know will ever go back there. I wish I could give this place negative stars. Literally the worst place I've ever eaten.
